KickPulse ("the App") is operated by Insight Decima, S.A. de C.V. ("we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated in El Salvador. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use KickPulse.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Email address (optional): Only if you voluntarily provide it in the Settings screen for purchase restoration purposes. We do not require account creation.
• In-app purchases: If you purchase KickPulse Premium, the transaction is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not store your payment information. Purchase records are managed by RevenueCat on our behalf.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device identifiers: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect your Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android) to show personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
• Push notification token: If you grant notification permissions, Expo (our push notification provider) assigns your device a push token. This token is stored locally on your device and used only to deliver match notifications you have subscribed to.
• Usage preferences: Your selected teams, leagues, language, and notification settings are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data is not transmitted to our servers.
• Network requests: The App communicates with football-data.org (match data) and NewsAPI.org (news articles). These requests originate from your device and may expose your IP address to those services. Please review their respective privacy policies.

1.3 Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not create user accounts or store personal profiles on our servers.
• We do not collect your location data.
• We do not collect contacts, photos, or camera data.
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

• Display personalized football news and scores based on your selected teams
• Send push notifications for match events you have subscribed to
• Display advertisements through Google AdMob (free tier users)
• Process and restore Premium purchases through RevenueCat
• Improve the App's performance and user experience

4. Advertising

KickPulse displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob to free-tier users. AdMob uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to show relevant ads. To opt out of personalized advertising:

• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

Users who purchase KickPulse Premium do not see advertisements.

5. Children's Privacy

KickPulse is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

6. Data Retention

Since most data is stored locally on your device, deleting the App removes your data from your device. Optional email addresses provided for purchase restoration are retained until you request deletion. Purchase records are retained as required by RevenueCat's policies.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Opt out of personalized advertising
• Withdraw consent at any time

Insight Decima, S.A. de C.V. is based in El Salvador. By using the App, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by our service providers in the United States and other countries.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

KickPulse is an independent application not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to FIFA, UEFA, the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Confederação Brasileira de Futebol, Panini, or any football club. All team names, league names, and competition names are used for identification and informational purposes only. All trademarks and registered trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
